Fridley Considers Adding Bike Lanes, Sidewalks to Main Street | Transportation

Soon, it may be easier for bikers and walkers to get around Fridley.  

The city is considering adding bike lanes and sidewalks to three blocks on Main Street near the Northstar Station. The area would be from 57th Avenue Northeast to 61st Avenue Northeast. A majority of the project would be funded by grant money.

To find out what the public thinks about the idea, the city is hosting a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, in the council chambers.
